First Aid Box
There is no standard list of items which must be kept in a first-aid box at work. It depends on what the assessed needs are.

However as a guide, the HSE recommend where there is no special risk in the workplace, a minimum stock of first-aid items to be readily available and replenished would be:

square.gif - 159 Bytes20 individually wrapped sterile adhesive dressings
   (assorted sizes)
square.gif - 159 BytesTwo sterile eye pads
square.gif - 159 BytesFour individually wrapped triangular bandages (preferably sterile)

square.gif - 159 BytesSix medium-sized (approximately 12 cm x 12 cm) individually
   wrapped sterile unmedicated wound dressings
square.gif - 159 BytesTwo large (approximately 18 cm x 18 cm) sterile individually
   wrapped unmedicated wound dressings

Tablets or medicines should not be kept in the first-aid box.
